Course Description

These willow baskets, also known as asymmetrical baskets, are a wonderful and beautiful alternative to the traditional basket form. Whilst being practical and robust, each one has it’s own unique wooden handle foraged from our local woods or places we visit. These baskets are ideal for gathering in your garden harvest, foraging, carrying your garden tools, or for simply shopping in style!

On this one day course you will make a small asymmetrical basket. Using a pre-prepared woven willow base, you will weave the sides and prepare & secure your personally selected handle. If you have a potential handle that you’d like to use, please bring it along – you can always message us to check it’s suitability.
