Recently finished this woven fence with assistance Recently finished this woven fence with assistance from Kristen of @weaving_lines. The owner is a lovely lady who kept us topped up with refreshments and ice creams every day to help combat the heat. Much appreciated:) All the uprights are solid steel bars, so NO wood in the ground at all. The steel is completely encapsulated in the weave and hidden on the top with the border weave. A very strong and durable willow fence ! Cant wait to see it when the bed in front is all planted up! #willowfence #naturalfence #hurdle #willowweaving #naturalgarden
My latest duckhouse. Usually they float on their o My latest duckhouse. Usually they float on their own platform and have to be very light. This one had its own island and had to be very heavy so that it couldn't easily be blown over! A welded steel frame , waterproofed sweet chestnut roof and a concealed concrete slab bolted to the underside of the base made it an extremely heavy proposition to carry across the pond with chest waders on. All went well until I realised my waders had a leak at waist level! Hope the ducks appreciate my hardship 🙂 #duck #duckhouse #willowweaving #chilternhills #pond
