Quality, beautiful, low maintenance raised beds are suitable for any sized garden. These beds add a wonderful traditional formality whilst maintaining a rustic natural look. The solid timber lining protects the willow wattle from within whilst the solid timber capping offers a convenient place to sit whilst gardening or enjoying a glass of wine!

All of the visual timber is our own sweet chestnut or oak, processed from tree to finished bed by ourselves. The hidden soil retaining boards are made from 2 inch thick FSC treated timber for maximum durability and to protect the beautiful willow cladding. Framed willow panels are made to neatly clad the sides and finished with sawn corner posts and wide capping boards with smart mitred corner details. The framed willow panels are designed to be easily removed without having to dismantle the structure of the raised bed should they need to be replaced due to accidental damage or old age. Finally, the inside of the beds can be lined with a waterproof membrane to ensure a truly durable raised bed.

These are essentially short willow fences woven around a suitable soil lining or simply used as a border edge to define or protect a bed. For raised beds, the lining could be Corten Steel which can be formed into formal or sinuous shapes mirrored effortlessly by the elegance of a willow surround. But the soil retaining lining could equally be a landscaping bag or pot! Once again for strength & durability, we use small diameter steel uprights, concealed by the willow weaving on the sides and a neat 'basket' border on the top.

We make a full range of conical plant supports from 4ft to 8ft high for your climbers, and herbaceous domes for your sprawlers. We can also make more structural features such as woven rose arhes & domes, often with a durable steel subframe making future re-weaves a breeze!
