We only handle “essential” and “functional” cookies, and are not interested in selling (or letting anyone else sell) your data! For this reason, we have chosen not to create a fancy cookie-catching website, and have opted-out of some of the “sleak” features which make websites work seamlessly, so that we can help you preserve your online data. We think cookies should refer to the “chocolate chip” sort, not the marketing and advertising ones.
We do not allow comments, account creation, or posting articles on our site. If we did, you might expect to have to opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in our cookie jar for 1 year. These would have been for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details each time, but we don’t, so you don’t have to worry.
Some items on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. These sites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Embedded Instagram feed: Instagram is important to our business, as its our best way of reaching out beyond our immediate sphere. There is an embedded instagram feed at the bottom of most pages, and should you open instagram from there you will be subject to Instagram’s privacy policy.
To allow you to contact us easily, we use a contact form, which collects the information you enter about your name, contact details and location so that we can effectively respond to enquiries and questions.
