GROUND INSTALLATIONS…. When continuously woven directly from the ground, we use cleft sweet chestnut uprights, which are driven into the ground at suitable intervals and interwoven with hazel or willow. The sweet chestnut provides excellent strength and durabilty where in contact with the soil. We can
WALL INSTALLATIONS….. We can build directly from the top of your wall, whether curved or straight. We usually use large steel dowells which invisibly join the uprights into the top of the wall. Alternatively the wall can be capped with oak from which we can build the hurdle.
CAPPING….. We can cap straight sections of hurdles with oak capping. This provides rigidity to the installation helping to prevent wind damage.
OAK FRAMED INSTALLATIONS…… An extremely robust option, completely encapsulating the hurdle within a rigid and robust oak frame, providing both elegance and durability.
